There is a mouse in my house and I want to trap it. page 1

The two challenges are these: one, I have a dog that is messing up all the traps I come up with because she is literally a nosy bitch; and two, I don't have access to any commercially available traps at this time because I live in Satan's icy armpit and oddly enough, capitalists aren't big into exploring this particular emerging market.
