Some images I made. I was feeling frustrated with posting, so I slugged out back through knee-deep snow. There I lit alight saber which makes some stuff into the 4th state of matter, and cut these out of steel. The steel is about 10 gauge and comes from a discarded home heating oil tank. Next I brought them in, lit them from above and to the left, and photographed them. Some of these might be good wallpapers. Please feel free to contribute :)

Cunt...these have some of that surreal bottom-of-the-tumbler quality I mentioned in another thread. I forgot to go back and find some of the images I was thinking about.

I used ps CS5 and a feature called 'HDR Toning', set to surreal (my favourite)

I would be pleased to walk you through if this isn't enough.

that's probably enough. I use gimp. I'll have to see if there's info on how to get a similar effect with it.

Being able to do something similar isn't really what I was after, though. I mostly wanted you to know that I really like the effect.
