Anybody here on Steam's Team Fortress 2? My sons got me hooked on this online game during Christmas break. For all those of you who ever wanted to take a shot at me, with bullet or granade, this is about as close as you can get. I'm pretty shitty at it still so I'm an easy kill. We could share handles and team up or play on opposing teams. When you team up you can chat if you have a mic/headset.

Any other online games recommended?

The nice thing about Steam is it's free online and the game only cost a few bucks.

Cross-platform play works between Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Playstation 3, iOS and Android, but the Linux XBox 360 platforms are not supported at this stage.

Fuck. Try to start on online game and it devolves into a debate with the Geek Squad. Sorry that nobody has a computer that can play online video games. Apparently, most atheist's computers can only handle forum graphics.

I usually play Counterstrike: Condition Zero or Half Life: Deathmatch through Steam although I haven't played for months. Too time poor lately. I may fire it up this week.

So, cheap you reckon, how cheap are we talking for TF?

My kids bought it for me but i thought they said it was $10. They know I hate for them to spend their money on me so maybe it was more.

I did feel I should fit into any game that had the word "scum" in it so I checked it out for a few minutes. I've never been good at learning foreign languages or any venture that required I put on a wizard suit so my first impression was negative. But it's been only a superficial glance. I don't think I'm smart enough to understand and master it.

I think I got it...lemme go look again...ya, but I have to download/reinstall it.it should take about 12 hours.

You might have to put up with some crap play at first. I only played it a few times when I first installed it. My nephew put me up to it.

TF2 is free-to-play on Steam now. Doesn't cost a thing anymore.

Anybody with a computer can download Steam, for free, and then download TF2 for free.

I got bored of it. Too many people playing the same damn maps over and over again.
