^Who is online^ and what admins can see page 1

A question for ob, really ...

I'm not comfortable with being able to see a member's online activity to the specific point of what keyword they are searching. It feels too much like prying at a glance. Is it possible to remove that particular bit of information from the who's online information that admins can see?

Even if it can't be changed .. or it's decided it's better not to change it for whatever reason ... I think members should be aware that admins can see more detail when viewing 'who is online'.

Remove the feature completely. If the whole point of the forum is about creating an 'equal' environment, then we need to remove regulators of behaviour.

I think the extra location detail on who's online is now turned off for admins. I hadn't noticed it was working that way. Let me know if you still see search terms.

I would like everyone to know that EVERYTHING here is as private as a postcard. The only privacy available on-line is that there is too much to watch.

If anyone here wanted to gather information about members, they could. Even if they had to farm out the legwork.

Be aware, people. This technology improves so fast it isn't unreasonable that at some future date EVERYTHING ever trafficked on your IP could be recovered.
