Shut up. If we stop arguing about it, the same scientists might turn to the next controversy and finish up studying the wet-spot out of existence next.

I'm sure there's such a spot, but it's not a magic orgasm button for every woman.

And a lot more.

ETA from above article:

we now understand how the erectile tissue of the clitoris engorges and surrounds the vagina – a complete breakthrough that explains how what we once considered to be a vaginal orgasm is actually an internal clitoral orgasm.

I love the Wiki pic of a clitoris:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/c/cf/Clitoris_anatomy_labeled-en.svg/663px-Clitoris_anatomy_labeled-en.svg.png
The internal anatomy of the human vulva, with the clitoral hood and labia minora indicated as lines. The clitoris extends from the visible portion to a point below the pubic bone.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clitoris
Skepticism via personal anecdote:

The area in question is not the internal clitoral band, which I can clearly feel spasm when I orgasm .. it's the area inside, behind the clitoris .. a concentration of stimulation on that area along with my clitoris leads to a more powerful internal orgasm than just clitoral stimulation, which is a more localised orgasm .. still nice, but not a full body experience. Direct stimulation of my clitoral tip is too much .. stroking down the extensions, along my labia, and stimulating the area behind my clitoris is ... as I said, it's mmmmmmohhhhhh .... That's not the only spot though .. contact and pressure/stroking other areas in the vacinity while stroking my clitoris are also highly likely to bring orgasm on.

Nothing compares to an orgasm with my partner's penis inside kicking against my cervix, though. :)

When I said it's in the mind, literally ... it is. Being distracted by anything else seems to block the ability to become aroused ... Sometimes physical stimulation works to draw the mind away from distractions .. other times not.

SBS used to run a French-made documentary about the clitoris in their Friday night spot. There's a woman at Melbourne University who was interviewed about her research, which was but shouldn't've been quite ground-breaking, because she was the first person to properly dissect and describe its structure (despite 400 years of anatomy.)

What always killed me is she was really straight-laced looking (and sounding,) like she was straight out of the convent school:

I totally watched all of that.

I wanted to give the lady at the very end a hug. :(

One thing that I am not sure about is the theory that women can have an orgasm through anal sex alone without clitoral stimulation. I don't believe their is a "g-spot" in the anal area of a woman. It feels really good, yes, but anatomically it does not make sense and stimulating the clitoris is what brings on the orgasm IMO.

Interesting listening to the women talking about their sexual likes...it really is all in the mind.

The brain is really the biggest errogenous zone on the body. :]

Agreed. I have reached orgasm without any physical stimulation at all.

If a G spot exists, I don't have one. I looked. I also don't find anal sex or anything related to anal erogenous.

Definitely people who believe that dinosaurs are a myth

That Fox News is the truth
That LBGT peeps are mentally ill and should be treated and made to be straight and accept the gender they were born with.

so probably some of them might be flat earthers too.
