It was just an amazing stroke of luck that two long time enemy neighbors (m.a.d. is instituted) in that particular part of the world (many that are not tied into the world central banking system)would be the first to have nukes after 50 years of just the US, UK, France, Russia, and China (Israel too but shhh).

Ever wonder how it was that Pakistan and India got nukes at the same time?Probably in a similar way Turkey and Greece got their first submarines. At the end of WWI some opportunist snapped up five German U-boats. He managed to sell only two of them to Greece, so he approached the Turkish government and let it be known that the Greeks had two submarines. The Turks, having been at war with the Greeks off and on ever since Paris eloped with Helen more than three millennia ago, of course bought the remaining three.

Maybe once they gave up on world cricket domination, they both switched their goals to world domination.
