In other words same old same old.

I have lost track of how many people I have worked with who go on and on about how boring their job is.

Then some changes come through and they lose their shit over anyone expecting them to change the way they do things.

I was always like, any change is good change, cause any change is as good as a holiday.

But most people seem to get their noses out of joint if they have to take one extra step or ,even, one less step than they have been doing day in day out.

:sadcheer: So many people are sad, sad people :ashamed:

well i know that sometimes i post sad things, but it is not a reflection of my character. i am generally happy. i imagine others are the same way

it's just that it is easy to complain and post about negative things sometimes. it is a form of reaching out, getting it out there.

and i think we have a tendency to do this more than proclaiming our happiness.
Mantisdreamz
12th December 2016, 05:56 AM
i also think sadness is a huge part of the human experience, and that it is okay to feel sad. so that it's okay to feel down and let yourself do that, only to know that you are not neglecting that part of the psyche. but letting it ride its course :) i think as long as you feel deeply, whether it be sad or happy, then you are doing the right thing.

will i regret saying this later?

Trying to communicate seriously through the MR cynical same old? same old?
Facetiousness and humour are very important, but the joke can loss it's tail sometime.

What where we talking about?
Sadness?
Yes, it is an important part of life and many a mental health issue is experienced by people who try to deny that life has as much pain and suffering as happiness and sunshine.

There is a disorder now recognized, that is more often suffered by girls than boys apparently.

The nothing is good enough unless it's perfect disorder.
Apparently, the unfortunates who suffer it beat themselves up if they get 98 out of a 100, because they can only see the 2 they got wrong.

If you expect life to be a box of chocolates, great. But expect some to have a worm in them, and others to melt to unedible and maybe even some to be stolen.
