Trouble at TAF page 1

Thinking Aloud Forum, that is...

For those of you who don't know, when Dawkins' forum jettisoned the filth from Off Topic in October 2008 an admin called OBC founded TAF for us. He went batshit power crazy in 2009 and Rationalia was borne of the mess.

However, some old Dawks didn't like Rationalia and returned to TAF after OBC calmed down a bit. Some really lovely people like War Arrow, his partner RationalBess and Sugaree are there now but OBC is up to his shit again, threatening to close the forum they have rebuilt unless he is paid for it.

I don't know where I'm going with this, but I have a gut feeling that it might be good to contact War Arrow. I really like him, have missed him at Rationalia and I think he is one of the finest people I have ever met on line. Outside of Seraph and Charlou he and Bess are just about the only people I would contemplate meeting in RL - they are in distress, would anyone mind if I let him in on what we are doing? I have no doubt at all he would be utterly discreet, even if mindromp wasn't his cup of tea.

You don't need our permission to encourage anyone to join this forum once it opens for business, but I think, given the reasons War Arrow, RationalBess and Sugaree left Rationalia, they'll see even less appeal in MindRomp.

That's a fair point, but there were also other issues, personality clashes etc.

War Arrow and Bess will be just as welcome as anyone to join our membership.

I think we're getting very close to dotting and crossing the proverbials, so not long now ... oooolalala *exciting*
