Xmas, 1955, getting a bow and arrow set, red/white/blue pinstripes around the arrows. I found it was more fun if the suction cups were removed.

looking out my window and seeing an elephant walk down the street.

I thought this was a false memory until I was an adult and mentioned it to my mother and she confirmed it. I was two and a half, watching for my dad to come home, and an elephant that had wandered away from a circus that was in town walked through the street past our house.

My mother and my aunt giving me a bath in the kitchen sink. Not sure how young you have to be to fit in a kitchen sink.

Lying on the floor and my older brother (who in my memory looks about 2 to 3, making me 1 - 2) tipping a dining chair onto me. Could be false memory. My mother will deny it due to impending law suit.

Holiday in Terrigal, New South Wales (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrigal,_New_South_Wales). I was less than 3 years old. The most vivid memory is of some big kids beating jellyfish into bits with a stick on the beach. I also remember catching a train to Taronga Zoo in Sydney and looking down into horrible concrete pits where the tigers paced in and out incessantly.

From when I was around 3sih.

Either nursery - there was a giant log in the playground that we used to climb on and jump off and I remember doing that.

Or visiting my grandma at her house. I was about 3.5 when she moved in with us so it was at some point before then.

I have an early snapshot-memory of an entire pot of coffee spilled on the floor. As viewed from a high-chair.

Possibly even earlier, I have memories of being at church, and wandering around the place being perturbed at the fact that the building didn't look right, because I had a prior image of what "church" was and that wasn't it. (Probably because I had been taken to a different church up to the age of 18 months.)
