Zigmen is tempting .. his self serving lack of pro-town rationale for his gameplay and his passive aggression ... Isn't that often town Zigmen? Fuck knows I've been spectacularly wrong about thinking he was scum before. Call that hedging if you like, I'm just interested in lynching scum.

Well I've read as far as UT's kind comments . So only a bit more to read later ,My thoughts so far Zigs, little role PM game is too shallow for a scum special hunting ploy so I'd not have him on my scum list .
And Gonzo I do not trust . He is sneaky and brazen enough to fake this whole lover/sister/mother (is it a redneck thing ? ) and he needs to investigated . i've been fooled before by Gonzo fake claiming early on in game before this one seems doubly sneaky because it implicates another player .
I'd like Diva's thoughts on this .

You should absolutely kill someone today, it clears you. If it gets town an extra kill it's even more useful.
What's your suspect list at the moment?
I did strongly suspect zigmen, but I can't decide if he's scheming scum or goose town. Cheap ploy either way that he used, IMO.
I haven't liked gib's participation... he FoS'd me, then asked diva who she'd lynch, and he seemed OK with EVERY single one she'd listed. Although, she didn't list me and then he seemed to drop it. But so many others see town in him, so I don't know.
I could actually buy that adenosine waded in with his BS vote on me (which would mean zigmen is town) because he's scum and he knows I trolley track on him and he wanted to get in first with the suspicion, but I'm not getting a real scum vibe off him.
Borealis could be a possibility.
I could kill no-one, but then I'm not cleared and scum will just want to kill me (or maybe not, if they are confident I'm going to kill a townie they might wait until I'm cleared town).

Luckily, I planted proof of my Towniness in my opening post. Scum won't be able to see it, but Town will. I'm cleared.
More to the point, oblivion is a very experienced GM, and has a habit of wording role PMs subtly differently, even for VT. This is a ridiculous claim of yours. If you're scum, it's wifom. If you're town, it's pointless cryptic meta-gaming.
Actually, my experience of oblivion's games is that she often sends out identical VT PMs and may post it in the peanut gallery. I'm not sure how often she posts it on the scum writeboard, but Nightson posted a couple of examples.

Reread your posts, bolero ... a heap of fluff/filler posts to begin with ... some questions and comments about voting and mechanics ... After that you settled into gameplay. Your vote switching when you thought the gameday was almost over then learned it wasn't was a clanger, but your subsequent explanation seems sincere (although I do have in mind how good you are at playing innocent and gormless when it suits ;) ).

The other thing that bothers me about bolero is that she was quite happy to save herself when she thought time was up, at someone else's expense.
She hasn't claimed, so at best she must be vanilla town, and yet she was prepared to see another go down seemingly quite randomly ... just picked the next highest vote tally
