IMO rationalia's smilies have always been in a mishmash, with flavour of the day ones added to appear at the top of the smilie list, only to disappear and nigh impossible to find later. FF has >4,000 smilies which IMO is totally excessive.

Q: do people think TR has ever needed a smilie search? Because, I can't see us having more than TR (not while I wield my unyielding and capricious tyrannical power of Smilie Czar bwahahahaha... haha.... ha)

Oh and FYI of course any admin here can add/remove smilies, but so far I've been doing it as I offered. I do expect my powers to be wrested from me in a bloody coup at any moment.

That's completely bonkers :stare: The vast majority of those probably go completely unused (granted, I've never bothered going to FF so I might be wrong)

my most favorite smilies are committed to memory. the ones I like a lot but don't use all that often are in my favorite smilies list in my control panel.

I love the favorite smilies hack.

I assume smilies can be culled from the list. Maybe over time, the completely unused ones can just be jettisoned.

If you click your name at the right top of the page, you'll go to your profile page. there is a statistics tab. click that and you'll see links to your recent (last 1000) posts and recent threads you've started. I found a vbulletin hack that allows members to change their votes. It also lets people write-in their own poll options and vote for it. When setting up the poll, it looks like the OPer can decide whether to enable vote-changing or not.
